Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our cleaning tests, and can take care of different flooring. Find models that allow you to select from multiple modes, use their charging dock to self-empty, and clean up stairs.

Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuum cleaners best vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.

When I tried the S1 It was quick to locate the downstairs area, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It easily drove close to walls without crashing into them and even managed to traverse thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, but it sometimes was unable to navigate down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or carpet.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to clean the dirty water tank occasionally to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option for your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a number unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of just drag a pad across a surface. The mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station, if needed.

The robot comes with a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach and two water tanks that are automatically empty and replenished as required. It comes with a range of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up most of the debris, and even smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it could get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping is quite good as well, with a pair of spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned with hot water and dried in the basestation when required. The mops can also be refilled at the top of the station as required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their new flagship model has even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our top list of robot mop vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests well by avoiding pet hairs as well as other mess. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically extends to get into areas that are difficult to reach and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can easily move from one room to another without changing direction which is a great feature for homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a large margin between obstacles. This can result in missing spots.

The app's interface is intuitive and well-organized. It should be simple to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleaning tasks. You can also alter the suction power, mop settings and view 2D and 3-D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for live video surveillance. You'll need a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

Robot vacuums are excellent at picking up dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach all dust. It is important to clean frequently, every week. This is especially important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to do exactly that. It is simple to connect it to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's less expensive because it doesn't have mopping capabilities, and also has an aluminum body.

Despite losing the ability to clean your floors, the Q5 still has some of the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It also features a smart app that lets you set your floor type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic vacuum and mop water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.

Its mops are also impressive with their 2700Pa capacity to tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it could not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising, since it does NOT contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested, it also utilizes a unique system to map your home this allows it to get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. It also has the larger bin, meaning that you don't have to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. The robot can recognize carpets, and increase suction if needed. The app also allows you to mark areas you want to stay clear of this is a useful feature.
