The Best robot cleaner with mop Hoover

The best robot vacuum can vacuum and mop your floors without your involvement. It will also leave them spotless. Its low cost and top-of-the-line features (such as dirt detectors) are positives.

Make sure you regularly examine the brushes of your robot for hair that is tangled and large particles, and wash them when required. Certain models also automatically empty the onboard dust bin and place it in a larger bin at the bottom. This reduces the amount fine dust that is released into the air.

1. Roomba Q5 pro

The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive counterpart, the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums that we have test. They have motors that are top of the quality and can suction up to 5,500 Pascals. As with other top iRobot models (including the top pick) they utilize smart mapping technology to create detailed floor plans and avoid household obstacles such as cords and furniture legs. The robots also come with a feature called Carpet Boost which boosts its power when it detects dirt on the carpet.

Both the Q5 as well as the Q7 Max Series get very good scores in our tests on floors that are bare and are particularly effective in removing pet hair. There are some issues however, which prevent them from being our top choice. One of the Q5's shortcomings is its navigation system does not have AI-powered obstacles avoidance. It's also prone to get stuck on socks and shoes, and it couldn't navigate densely packed rooms very well during our tests. It also doesn't come with an image sensor that lets it see the corners of a room.

It's still a great deal for those whose office or home has a lot of unfinished floors and you want to save money. Additionally, it's quiet and you can use it while you're at work, or at school. The only thing it's missing that you won't find in the pricier iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on bare floors. And it's less effective at mopping, relying on disposable wet wipes that don't hold on well and aren't able to take on dried-on debris. The Q5 has a self-emptying dock, though. And, if you need to, you can switch the mopping pad for dry ones in a matter of minutes.

2. IRobot Roomba X30

The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive mopping and vacuuming into a compact, sleek package. Its nimble navigation and intelligent cleaning maps make it quick to clean and effective at tackling larger particles like pet hair. It also has a self-emptying bin, powerful suction, and support for virtual boundaries. It's the best robot vacuum for carpets, but it's not as effective as some rivals in deep cleaning.

This high-performance vacuum and mop uses sensors to avoid obstacles and pet waste. It also learns the layout of your home over time to offer better cleaning. You can alter its cleaning schedule and set up zones with the well-designed app. Its battery life is average in comparison to similar models.

If the X30 Ultra is in a carpeted area, you can instruct it to remove and extend its mop. This helps prevent cross-contamination. Its flex arm is also great to get under furniture with low levels and along baseboards. It's not as efficient on the washboard as our other Editors' Choice Picks, the Ecovacs Ozmo N8Pro+ and the iRobot Combo j9+.

During tests, X30 Ultra was the fastest robot vacuum/mop to complete the task of cleaning a whole home, with 66 per cent of its battery remaining. It also did a great job cleaning a variety of floors and rooms that had various flooring types, such as certain area rug. Its obstacle detection was excellent and it stayed clear of fake dog turds and socks, shoes, and bundles of cables.

It's a little more expensive than iRobot Combo v9+ or iRobot Roomba j9+ but has superior suction and an onboard bin that automatically empties into the base. It also supports voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It can even clean the floor after it vacuums this feature, which we haven't seen in other robot vacuum/mop combos.

3. Roomba X40 from iRobot

With a sleek, circular design that looks more like a regular Roomba rather than the boxy units, this robot vacuum and mop combo is among the most appealing looking in our reviews. The newest model from iRobot is among the most intelligent, with advanced features including enhanced dirt detection technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that is able to wash mop pads).

It's the only robotic vacuum/mop to score an exemplary 10/10 in our evaluations due to a mix of high-tech sensors, including a camera, structured light system and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot vacuums that mop we tested that is fully autonomously refill and empty its base station and it has an the industry's highest suction of 12,000Pa and self-cleaning mop pads.

Like other iRobot models as well, the X40 is user-friendly, offering an intuitive mobile app interface as well as integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Google Assistant. The only real drawback is that it's loud that could be an issue if you use it in the morning prior to work or at night as you try to fall asleep.

It's also a bit costly however, not as much as the Ecovacs MaxV Ultra or the Roborock S8 Omni, which are both equally capable and better looking. If you're willing with a little more noise and some extra cost, this is a very powerful two-in-one that will please almost everyone.

4. iRobot Roomba L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the high-end robot mop and vacuum. It has a number of advanced features that will help you forget your chores. The L20 Ultra is a hands-free cleaning machine, similar to Ecovacs the top of the line X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra. It has a multifunction dock which automatically emptys the bin of the vacuum and fills up the water tank, and cleans and dries the mop pads.

The smart robot employs the combination of LIDAR and structured light to draw out the floor plan and detect obstacles, making it more efficient than its more expensive rivals. It also has a front mounted camera for real-time hazards detection, though this wasn't 100% reliable in our tests and could be confused with power cords or obstructions.

The vacuum cleaner has the capacity to suction up to 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to do the job. It also comes with "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates the intensity at which the vacuum works and also adjusts the frequency of cleaning for different areas of the home depending on the amount of dirt they tend to be.

For bigger homes it's recommended to choose models that has zone or spot cleaning modes that allow you to instruct the robot vacuums with mop to clean a particular area of your house by using the app or voice commands. A stairway mode is useful if you own a number of furniture. Also, a recharge and resume function that lets your robot vacuum take over exactly where it left off is ideal for busy families.

5. iRobot Roomba RX3

The RX3 is a more efficient cleaner than you might expect from its price tag. It has a great vacuuming performance, picking up 55% debris in our tests. (It was only second to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mops using one pad and a reciprocating motion which is cleaner than the majority of the mop cleaners with robots that we've tested. It's also highly self-sufficient, with a full-featured app and a self emptying base that is washable.

The iRobot app is designed to guide you through the mapping process, which gathers information on your floorplan, as well as any "no go" areas that you have marked on the map. You can use it to make cleaning schedules, arrange the perfect spot for cleaning or prioritize your most filthy rooms to ensure better performance. The app comes with a variety of options, including seasonal suggestions, custom mapping and advanced cleaning settings.

It is also able to reach corners and under furniture more easily because its shape is more rectangular. It also has a strong 8,000 Pascal suction and combs that are intelligent for pet hair. You can also create a spot-cleaner which will thoroughly clean a specific area.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a more sleek and cheaper alternative to the iRobot Roomba. It's got a more attractive design, akin to Dolce & Gabbana. The twin cameras are shaped like cute little eyes. It is excellent at vacuuming, but it's more likely to get caught in low thresholds. It is also louder than other top robot vacuums we have tested. It also comes with an app that's less intuitive, and a smaller base station that doesn't double as a bin to empty.
